Since 1991, Toy Tips has been evaluating, testing and playing with thousands of toys each year to whittle down a list of those toys that children play with, have fun and learn from. Here are just a few of our picks for 2017.

The Pettit National Ice Center knows what is ultimately important. Upon its 25th anniversary on December 31, there will be no formal celebration to commemorate the silver anniversary milestone. Instead, the organization readies itself to host the U.S. Olympic Long Track Speed Skating Trials Jan 2-7 prior to the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

In the progressive and bustling suburb that Wauwatosa has become, it is surprising that a city that once had multiple dedicated newspapers would now have none. In spite of the flourishing community, our local paper has been relegated to a mere directional, no longer focused on Wauwatosa.
