We have an exciting Summer of events to look forward to in the Village.

Construction on the Pocket Park and Root Common areas is progressing on schedule and will be complete near the end of June. We are excited for everyone to see the finished product and plan to utilize the space right away with a new event series.

The Root Series will take advantage of the small performance area in Root Common and features local musicians and vendors. The first event will be on July 19th. Musical acts and vendors will be announced soon.

In addition to hosting the Root Series, the new holiday tree will be located in the Pocket Park. The new space will be a wonderful spot for the annual Village tree lighting ceremony and other holiday events.

The parks will also be an everyday gathering space with plenty of spots to enjoy your treats from Village shops. There will be seating areas, beautiful landscaping, a kids play area and more. A large kiosk at the South end of Root Common will have a directory of businesses, parking map and event posters.

Mark the Root Series on your calendar and join us in celebrating the new addition to our Village.

Summer also brings back Market Saturdays in the Village. The ever-popular Tosa Farmers Market returns to the Hart’s Mills parking lot starting on June 2nd and running every Saturday through October.
