The casually reclining woman continues to look aside and downward – quite stone faced. It’s difficult to tell if she looks ashamed of being naked, though past reaction to her has caused decades of shuttling her between local parks and now shunned amid stacks of pipes and lumber.

Oh, how times have changed. Christmas has morphed into celebration of multiple holidays and what once was a traditional two days of observance is now an extended season. What hasn’t changed is that this is a time for joy, reflection and remembrance.

Here is our toy philosophy: A great toy is one that’s fun to play with over and over again. It is durable and not too technical. It summons the best parts of children: imagination, social and communication skills, physical dexterity, and cognitive skills. It offers a delightful and safe way to explore the world.

It is often said “it takes a village to raise a child.” These words are especially true in times of tragedy, and lie at the heart of the Kyle’s Korner mission. Nestled amongst the shops on North Avenue in East Tosa, the unassuming home of Kyle’s Korner serves grieving families throughout the Milwaukee area.
