…you swam at Hoyt Park pool as a kid without your parents
Back then you got a basket to put your stuff in instead of a locker.. You probably shared a basket with a friend to save 10 cents. You may even recall the first time you dove off the “high dives”.

…you used to skate at Mayfair Mall.
The best seats at McDonald’s were the ones on the window overlooking the rink. You may have even attended a cub scout or girl scout event there. Some favorites in the mall were Hot Sam, Puppy Love, Herman’s World of Sports, Red Baron, Wooden Nickel, Helen Gallagher’s, and Merle Harmon’s Fan Fair.

…you played your first round of golf at George Hansen
Golf Course when it was just 9 holes. They didn’t really have tee times then, you just showed up (on your bike) and waited for you number to be called with all the old-timers. Or you hung out at the caddyshack at Bluemound Country Club waiting to complete a “double loop” for some extra cash.
