Hello and welcome to another Wisconsin winter where we watch watery snowflakes blanket the views from our favorite furniture at home to our bent barstool at our favorite local swill shack. It’s festive. It’s cozy. Comprende? Cocktails like these can either be served on the rocks or strained into a martini glass.

I couldn’t identify that magazine-size publication with the red binding. So I pulled it down off the bookshelf and immediately recognized it. I was holding the 2002 souvenir program from the 60th reunion of the class of 1942 at Wauwatosa High School (my class).

The Wauwatosa Neighborhood Association Council (NAC) supports Tosa’s 30 local neighbor-hood associations with information, mentoring and training. Their mission is to create a stronger, safer and more vibrant community by helping neighbors connect to people, places and resources. Involved, connected neighbors make great neighborhoods.

This time of year brings joy, happiness and a focus on friends and family and sharing special times. Our community celebrates in many ways and I hope you will join me in The Village for the kickoff of the holidays with the Holiday Magic weekend, December 1-3.
